What is the format of the class? This class is primarily a scene study class, that opens with a segment of Lauren's special improv format, much like our live classes, except remotely through Zoom.
What do I need to attend the online class?-You need a computer with camera and microphone. (iPad and iPhone work too, but the bigger the screen, the better the experience.) -You must be willing to download and sign up for the program/app ZOOM (this app is free to you). - You must be prepared and ready to give 110% each class and rehearse with your scene partner at least 1 hour each week. - Most importantly, you must be ready and prepared to take leaps and bounds as our students grow quickly at LPN Studios!
What are the class dates and times?Wednesday 3:00-6:00 pm (PST) Thursday 3:00-6:00 pm (PST) Saturday 12:00-3:00 pm (PST) *Teen Class - Sunday 2:00-4:30pm (PST) Priority is given to currently enrolled students, if they wish to continue to hold their spot, after that it is waitlist only - so get on the list ASAP.
Do I need to commit to the same day each week of a cycle? When enrolling you select your best day (upon availability). You are assigned and accountable to a scene partner, so you MUST commit and show up each week for each other. On the rare occasion there is an absence Lauren will provide a cold read for that class only, or you are welcome to bring a monologue to the class. You will ALWAYS work in Lauren's classes. *If you are interested in attending on multiple days you would be registering in two classes, which many of Lauren's students have done.
How much does it cost?Classes are booked in two month Sessions. NO EXCEPTIONS Two months is $370 Additionally, new students are required to purchase one private coaching session with Lauren, before you can enroll in class. It allows you to learn Lauren's powerful character developing process, in a one on one setting. This is a HUGE benefit to YOU. It gives you an advantage to learn her process first hand, that you can apply to your auditions, class work, and on the job in the future.
Can I audit live on Zoom?Unfortunately, we do not open the Zoom room for auditors. Lauren feels strongly that her first priority is to the currently enrolled students. By opening the room to additional people, it makes the screen crowded, which can limit the full experience for those who paid for the class. That is why we created the videos of scene work in progress, as well as, Lauren's commentary that you just viewed on the previous page. This should give you the feel and vibe of the class.
