It tells the story of Donohue who left for Vietnam to track down and share a few beers with his childhood friends while they were serving in the war.
He'll star alongside the likes of Russel Crowe and Zac Efron.
The Apple Original Film is based on the novel of the same name by Joanna Molloy and John "Chickie" Donohue.
